Are you interested in exploring how nature can enhance your writing? Do you have a writing project you are working on or would like to start...or finish?

This safe and casual retreat gives you the option to focus on one of those questions or both. There will be plenty of time to write, as well as participate in the two specific options.

Option I - Saturday afternoon we will learn the science behind how nature affects our mood and creativity, and how it can be a gift of writing inspiration! Also, we'll discuss how our knowledge of nature can enhance the use of metaphor, simile, plot and storytelling. We will also discuss how incorporating nature into your life can be a writing discipline?

Option II- This option affords you time needed to focus on any writing project...book, poetry, blog essay, website content, thank-you cards, etc. WiFi is available in the house and you will be left to do your own thing.

Friday evening we will take a discovery walk on the Refresher Course, have some healthy snacks and introduce ourselves. Sunday morning will be a time of solitude/writing and then voluntary sharing over brunch.

Each Retreat includes:

· A "transitioning" walk along The Refresher Course
· A healthy, organic lunch
· The opportunity to enjoy time alone for reflection
· Educational and encouraging programming
· Heart-felt communion with other women
· Chocolate snacks!

After the registrations deadline, an information packet, including directions and other pertinent details for your visit,will be emailed to all participants
